Fox Anthony was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and earned a Design BFA from Cornish College of the Arts. He has also studied at Pilchuck Glass School and the Institute of American Indian Arts. As an enrolled member of the Karuk Tribe, he was selected in 2009 as the first Emerging College Artist by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian and has received grants and awards from a variety of organizations including the National Native Creative Development Program at the Longhouse at Evergreen State College, Potlatch Fund, and Worldstudio/American Institute of Graphic Arts.
