Pallottole d'Amore, chairs
To recover an object thrown in attic destined to fire or one hidden
chair in put in the box. To transform and to redesign the lines the
style and the forms like one surgical operation to changing identity.
"Pallottole d'Amore" (-Bullets of Love-this the name behind which
Eva Fontana, from Italy , operate) with detached artistic sense
transforms old objects in real works d' art. Furnitures, chairs, seats
and other. Created only pieces by hand inspired from most various draft
and topics. Maintaining their destination of its natural use (a chair is
and will remain always a chair) the artists work utes one action of
transformation more than a decoration. The restyling it creates objects
of great impact - excessive and sometimes intentionally baroque - giving
to new life and aesthetic nobility with a bit of provocation, nearly to
wanting to eliminate the "old life" of our ancient anonymous chair.
Decorations. The /trompe l' oeil/ . Citations of the most famous
masterpieces of contemporary art. Rinascimental's references placed side
by side to modern fetish provocations, Mexican's colours like Frida
Kahlo, afro style, old german graphic and Art-nouveau. Others works
seems to exit directly from the house of Barbie or chairs that we
imagine placed in some Fellini's movies. Colors and poetry mixed in
order to create special atmosphere. The recovery work produces pieces of
great impact. The collectors are growing.
