Escobar Walker is the author of contemporary UK fiction. Born just outside Glasgow, he now splits his time between Scotland and New York.

He was shortlisted for the Dundee International Book Prize and Brit Writers Awards 2011, and also long-listed for the US Amazon Breakthrough Author Awards 2012 prior to his first novel BOWLING BALL being published by the UK imprint of Twisted Literature in early 2013.

Having already completed the Glasgow-based 'THREE HOLES, REALISTIC' trilogy ('BOWLING BALL', 'SIDEWAYS MOVERS' and 'TALES OF THE GREAT PIMP McDADDY'), the author is currently working on a fourth fiction novel entitled 'I HATE MY JOB, IT SUCKS'.

Described in the British press as "Irvine Welsh after five Viagra tablets and fourteen pints of fermented liquid freshly squeezed from an alcoholics colostomy bag" - Escobar's prose have been said to be "closer to the bone than the flesh eating killer bug", with a writing style "more painfully realistic than a cotton bud pushed right up the readers urethra".
