Hi everybody, I'm Erika and I was born in 1986 in a small italian village in the middle of nowhere.

My main interests are interaction design and illustration. My main strengths are in generating concepts and ideas, making interaction flows and sketching the scenarios. I can fit myself very well in working with other people sharing knowledges and skills. I particularly like to do and develop the graphic style of the projects as interfaces and icons. I love all kinds of art and design, work in an artistic ceramics workshop, and model by hand.

I’m experienced with Adobe Suite CS5 especially with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I have some experience in using Flash and Final Cut. I had also a basic approach in programming with Processing, Arduino and Flash AS3. Read Less

Currently / I0m working as interaction and UX designer at Smart Design, Barcelona.

2010-2013/ I worked at Fjord in Madrid as interaction and service designer after 5-months internship as interaction and visual designer.

2009 / Editing of the showreel for Festival della Creatività of Florence, about the projects of the Interaction Design programme in Venice.

2008 / I did a 3-months internship at Mollusco e Balena, a graphic agency based in Bologna. With whom I still collaborate doing logos, brochures and graphic for websites.

2011 / I graduated in Iuav’s master programme in Visual and Multimedia Communication with 110 cum laude, specialising in Interaction Design with a thesis called I Mirabilia based on three interactive dolls for hospitalized children.

2008 / I gained full marks 110/110 in my first degree, in Industrial Design, at the Faculty of Design and Arts, Iuav University of Venice.

2005 / I obtained my Diploma with full marks 100/100 at the Institute of Art, Ferrara. Read Less

2011 / I Mirabilia winner of ICSR 2011, international conference on social robotics - Design Competition

The project I Mirabilia has been selected as a speech and to be published as a paper by Ambience 11 - Smart textiles international conference, November 2011 in Boras (Sweden).

Project finalist at the 10th edition of the Francisco Mantecòn International Advertising Poster Design Competition, sponsored by Bodegas Terras Gauda Wineries.

2010 / The project Liasion has been selected as finalist at the Adobe Design Achievement Awards and the iPhone app Madeleine as semifinalist.

2009 / The project la città delle capre gialle, based on six hand-illustrations, won the Giovane Grafica Italiana competition, sponsored by the City of Milan and the graphic studio Camuffo Lab, and a 3-day internship with graphic designers Erik Kessels, Richard van der Laken and Harmen Liemburg.

2008 / My project for a teaspoon, Lello, was selected for the Nutella & Fruits competition sponsored by Interni magazine and won a week’s internship with product designer Giulio Iacchetti. Read Less
