I am a French-Canadian Art Director and Graphic Designer, working in Montréal. My first word was a drawing. I grew up in Corsica, an island full of contrasts from where I kept a generous and warm personality. I began my career in France where I learned the bases of graphic design. Fine art, nude, illustration, technical drawing and art history were part of my training. I touched on the whole graphic production chain and my first steps in the profession gave me a taste for quality work. I moved to Montréal in 2004, which has been a real life choice and got my Canadian citizenship in 2009. The interview with Creative director Roger Tremblay marked a change in my life, I was hired as an Art Director. He taught me all the important aspects of the job. I met Vicky and it was the birth of a duo, 7 years. I realized how important the team work is to me. And then, within the company Publicis. I had to work efficiently and meet deadlines on important brands.I quickly realized that I needed had to combine personality, efficiency and relevance. Creative director Michel Mergaerts believed in our team, because we had respected each other's work and were very client oriented. I worked on the brand strategy and oversaw all of the the visual recommendation, writing and media aspects.
Today, I am freelance. I love esthetic presentation and for me, a product launch is a process where all my abilities as a Graphic Designer and Art Director are put to work. I put a lot of emphasis on reflecting my clients marketing objectives and give meaning to the message through the creation.
