After leaving school, I went to design college. Before I finished my course, I got job as a Digital Artist at Billabong. Strangely, I do not surf.
I returned to college and am pleased to say my 2006 Graduate Advanced Diploma came with the college’s Illustration Award.
I then worked freelance doing design and illustration for Vanguard Fashion. My designs are now selling all over the world. During this time I started to get more serious about Art Direction.
This led to a job at STW-owned Junior Brisbane. Junior is a thriving, highly creative agency where I learned to work under capital P – Pressure. I was initially hired as a Finished Artist and through hard work and persistence (and a dash of talent), I learned print and online production back to front.
I worked with some amazing senior creatives, and being hungry, picked their brains for every grubby little nugget I could get out of them. The result is that I had great mentors as I cut my design and conceptual teeth on Isuzu, NRMA, BOQ, Brisbane City Council, QueensPlaza and Jupiters Casino. Meanwhile, I finished top three at Award School in 2010, got finalist in the 2010 Young Lions and was promoted to Art Director. Oh, and I got Published in the Semi Permanent 2011 Annual too.
However, after four years at Junior, I’m ready for a move, and that is exactly what this web site is all about.
