Hang me up is about love.

We talk about love, we learn how to love. The very first moment of our embryonic life is about love.
Trophy women. It is not about women. It is about how much we care. Affection is all we need. Time is all there is.
Buried somewhere under our principles of freedom and individuality, there is a ruthless hunt for affection. I hang you up, and you’ll be mine forever.
Passion, emotional closeness, desire, uniqueness, attachment as the most common and profoundly human needs. Love at it's most superficial is a religion that kills loneliness.
Hearts in bodies. You can get as many as you want, if you want.
Yet you will never get another soul for yourself.

Emilie and Kentin duet /// Alalaaa

Currently working with the painter Kentin (known as Shanghai taxi painter) on a project in Europe and China.

Emilie and Kentin met in France in 2008.
Talking and sharing their feelings for art and beauty all around us, they met each other months later in Shanghai, the city they work and live in most of the year.
They soon made a 4 hands painting and they knew this first artwork was their life’s kismet.

Movement is deeply linking their ways of expression.
Passionated by dance, Kentin was totally seduced by Emilie’s humanbodies paintings.
What he could find into a choregrapher set up was all in her paintings.
Inspired by volumes and curves, touch feelings and materials, Emilie was caught by Kentin’s genuine metal sculpures.

They started to live together their understanding of our era through the expression of their differences and they since nurture artistic concepts into 2 parallel universes.
