Eleni Katrini is a professional Architect Engineer with special interest in High-Performance Buildings and the incorporation of Sustainable Design into the urban context. Due to her strong sense of responsibility along with her ceaseless interest in aesthetics and green practices she will always have a critical eye in search of the sustainable solutions that really make a difference.
She obtained her professional degree in Architecture from the National Technical University of Athens. During the last year of her studies, and while working on her diploma thesis, she realized that she was interested in green and low energy practices. However, due to green-washing and eco-fashion, it was really difficult to get informed on sustainable and high performance building. Her thirst for awareness, led her to Pittsburgh, studying on Sustainable Design, at the MSSD program of Carnegie Mellon University.
