Eduardo Rubio (born in Barcelona, Spain), is a freelance photographer, journalist and an inexhaustible globetrotter. He has dedicated his life to document the human condition in each confine of Planet Earth.
After studying journalism at the University of Barcelona, he worked some years for the Spanish radio, TV and press before dedicating himself to document social conflicts for over 30 years. He lived first hand the wars of Bosnia, Kosovo, Chechnya, Cambodia, Western Sahara, Ethiopia, Middle East, Iraq and Afghanistan, among others. Eduardo has collaborated with many local and international press outlets (La Vanguardia, El Periódico, ABC, El País, Elle, Viajar, Rutas del Mundo, AVUI, Huffington Post, etc.) and he regularly collaborates with international ONG's (The UN Refugee Agency, Doctors Without Borders, Fundación Vicente Ferrer, etc.)
At present, in collaboration with the UNHCR Refugee Agency, he is immersed in an ambitious documentation of the spirit of soccer in the third world, in preparation for an upcoming book and exhibition. Read Less
