Eduardo Pereira was born in Porto, the north of Portugal. He studied Industrial Maintenance before starting a passionate career as freelance Publisher and Content Producer. Eduardo has published three magazines, hundreds of short films for Internet and Television, he had his own signature show on TV and managed a successful musical project. For the last 10 years he worked in projects related with marketing, media, music and art.

He started in the year 2000 with a poster/flyer distribution company, inspired on Londoner´s extinct Blond Media, called 121 Direct. But within two years period he was launching Search Mag, the first free pocket sized magazine in the country. The quality and vision brought collaborations with artists like Shepard Fairey, Dave Kinsey, Allister Lee, Vhills, Nash Money and David Carson.

In 2008, he took part of Vice Media Group international expansion plan, by licensing and launching Vice in Portugal. Highlights was working directly with inspirational figures like Spike Jonze, Erik Lavoie and Thalia Mavros. In 2011, Eduardo created TENCO NEWS, the first online Branded Content Channel in Portugal, that was picked up by Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art´s incubator project Canal 180, for a weekly screening.

Eduardo Pereira is also doing brand research, following the traces of some of the brands in risk of extinction or already extinct. Such as Cortebel, a sixty years Portuguese shoes brand that produced iconic footwear like the Wellipets, used by the Princes of Wales during childhood. Read Less
