An accomplished digital arts expert, Edward Przyzycki offers a unique blend of both extensive “hands-on” experience in Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Flash, Photoshop, and Premiere, as well as leadership/managerial and producer/project management experience in the areas of eLearning, video production, website design, content management, and product development.
Ed has received numerous accolades, including: Telly and Aegis Awards for outstanding video production, Adobe Site-of-the-Day honors for a customizable game-based learning application, an Excellence in Distance Learning Award for developing video-based continuing education courses, and a New Media Invision Bronze Medal Award for producing interactive accounting software. He has also been a featured speaker at the eLearning Guild’s annual eLearning Instructional Design Symposium.
In addition to his knowledge of Adobe products and standards such as SCORM, XML, DITA, and HTML/CSS, Ed is experienced in several CMS/LMS environments, and has also served in management – performing such tasks as budgeting, coordinating scriptwriting/storyboards, and working with subject matter experts, field producers, internal direct reports, and freelance staff.
While at McGraw-Hill Publishing, Ed was nominated for Corporate Achievement Award for conceptualizing and programming a CD-ROM authoring tool, saving the company $450,000 over 4 years. During that tenure, Ed managed over 100 CD-ROMs/dvd/online/PDA/eBook projects and 50 WebCT/Blackboard courses with budgets from $3,000 to $500,000.
Ed created Ed Edited It Productions, a successful independent media development firm, where he has managed freelance media developers/videographers and part-time direct reports developing media for Fortune 500 companies - DuPont, The Washington Post, Disney, the BBC, and the US Department of Energy.
Ed’s Flash eLearning objects have been showcased in Higher Education - placed in over 50 Kaplan University online courses and seen by 35,000 students globally – and his corporate eLearning objects have been viewed by over 2,000 TransUnion associates. While at Argonne National Laboratory, Ed developed OHSA federally mandated courses, saving taxpayers over $500,000 in training expenses annually.
Ed has extensive video production skills – he served as videographer/editor for a national television commercial for US Telematics.
While at TransUnion, Ed designed and developed innovative solutions for SCORM compliant eLearning, online help, technical writing, and content/learning management systems for company-wide distribution - proposing, building, and administering a DITA XML technology infrastructure – which helped standardize content authoring and distribution across the organization. (Implemented XML authoring applications and standards, administered SharePoint, developed XSL PDF transformations and architected/deployed a complete open-source publishing environment)
