Echolab is an award winning sound design studio setup in 2001 by Gavin Little, specialising in creative sound for TV and Film. Based in Dublin, Ireland but also working on US, UK and European broadcast projects for... Guinness, CocaCola, Heineken, O2, Powerade, MTV, Kelloggs, Red Bull, Sony etc. In 2005 Heineken 'MusicHeads' TV Commercial with sound design and music composed by Echolab won the ICAD Award for Best Sound Design. Echolab has also designed sound for several short films including... 'The Silent City' directed by Oscar Nominated Director Ruairi Robinson (currently directing the live-action feature AKIRA) and starring Cillian Murphy (Batman/28 Days Later)
'A Lonely Sky' directed by Nick Ryan and starring Kier Dullea (2001 : A Space Oddyssey)
'God's Kitchen' dirceted by Paki Smith. God's Kitchen was selected for competition at The 2003 Venice Film Festival. Echolab was nominated for The Irish Film and Television Awards - in the category Best Achievement in Music for TV or Film for the soundtrack.
Echolab is currently finishing sound design on Nick Ryan's new short film 'The German' starring Toby Kebbell (Control/RockNRolla).
dude, just had another look over the projects you've been involved in. thats a really nice portfolio you're creating. I remember watching 'A lonely star' about a year or so ago, and noting that the music is very prominent. Adds a lot to the mood.
