My education went from advanced humanities and a tour of Europe when I was sixteen, on to a year of University art and music study. I left my home state in 1982 to make my way to California (Los Angeles) where I experienced the full punk rock and street scene, then I headed South to San Diego to live with the Lotus Eaters for 5 years.
I skated at Del Mar, surfed at Mission Beach, Blacks, K38's, OB, Scripps, and Trestles. I worked at night in a series of restaurants and became a pretty good cook. I bought a drum set from an alcoholic coworker for beer money and got certified in massage at a new age school that also taught Tai Chi.
Somehow I found the time to study computer science at a local community college and bought some very early computers from TI, Atari and such. I did poetry and graphic art on these primitive platforms.
In 1987 I moved to the San Francisco bay area and have been here ever since. I've lived in warehouses full of musicians and been in a few bands. After the earthquake I moved in with my attorney and restored his Victorian house which led to 20 years of home improvement for clients all over the Bay Area. Recently I've joined one of the oldest woodworking co-ops in Berkeley to further refine my design and furniture making skills. I bring a diverse experience and hands on approach to executing my clients requests. Read Less
