Hello, I'm Dave.
I was born in the North West of England and have been art directing ads for over 15 years. After 10 years in London with 5 years as Creative Director of independent agency Tugboat, I moved to Auckland in 2004. Initially spending 3 years at DRAFTFCB, I moved to DDB in 2008 as Head of Art and was made Creative Director in 2010.
I’m now Head of Art at Whybin\TBWA and live in Sydney, Australia with partner Shannon and daughters Harlo & Sidony.
My work has been awarded more than fifty times both locally and internationally. Awards include Cannes, The One Show, London International, AWARD, Spikes and Young Guns as well as the local New Zealand and Australian award shows.
I have judged numerous local and international award shows and have work in the Musée de la Publicité National Poster Collections in Paris.
I am also one of those art directors who can actually draw. I've illustrated a number of campaigns. Some have actually won a few awards. Read Less
