Daniel Icaza (1986) - Costa Rica
Daniel Icaza was born in Costa Rica and currently lives and works in his native country.
He studied Fine Art and Metalsmithing at the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts (Arizona State University) in the United States.
Icaza has exhibited his art internationally in art galleries and museums in the USA, Costa Rica and Italy.
Among the most important exhibitions he has participated in, is the 2011 Biennale of Chianciano (Italy).
He is an awarded artist, having won prizes, grant and scholarships throughout his artistic education and career.
During my life time I have and continue to create art from many different materials and for various reasons, to convey an emotion, as a response to the world around me, as a form of meditation or perhaps for the simple act of creating.
