As a Graphic & Web Designer, both for love and career, I have found myself develop into a charismatic, enthusiastic, open minded and above all else creative individual. My time at Teesside University allowed me to flourish into a designer with a taste for success, working around some talented individuals, while my work experience has given me the realistic and methodical approach that any career can bring and is expecting.

I’m a person that likes to express opinions and in the design world I feel this is encouraged in order to get the best out of myself and the team around me. When I’m not avidly attached to a computer furthering my skills, updating my blog and researching other designers and agencies for inspiration I can be found at the cinema, the gym or just generally taking strolls across the beautiful English countryside, camera in hand and not far from the local pub.

Many people have a range of specialities. However I like to look at myself as a focussed and targeted individual that produces work to the highest calibre within graphic design, typography, branding and front end web design. Through my hobbies and previous qualifications I am very proud to say I have skills in music and audio production, book making, origami and illustration. I am, through and through, a Windows fan boy. Don’t let this deceive you though as I am just as proficient on a Mac. I have full working knowledge of all aspects to the Adobe Creative Suite however I predominantly work in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign as these are the packages my skill set lend me to. While it may always seem quite intense in a creative environment I do still manage to find time for myself. I often enjoy taking on personal briefs and presenting these, along with other works that inspire or motivate me, to the world through blogging. I have a keen passion for computer games as I appreciate the time and effort that goes in to some of timeless masterpieces that are produced and movies, particularly anime, play a key part in my life as both inspiration and stress relievers. Fashion is another key interest of mine and I take pride in how I present myself. As well as this I have a keen eye for tattoos and the artistry involved behind such works of art, while in contrast I find computers fascinating for the technology behind them and I am keen to understand more about them. Finally what sort of a person would I be to not let you know that music is a massive part of my life? I appreciate everything from metal, to trance, to electronic, to (some) pop and everything else in between. Read Less
