I've been working as an illustrator and graphic design since 1986 in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. In the beginning of my career I worked about 2 years as a designer most of the time. As my interesting about illustrations was growing up I started studying illustrations techniques in some specialized short courses and workshops with some excellent illustrators. One of them was the known Ray Knowles whose painted a variety of record's covers of Jethro Tull rock band from 70th.
Once I had decided to work just in illustrations, I started working in a knowned Brazil company called Start Desenhos Animados (animated features) working with backgrounds for animated features. In a few years I became an illustrator free-lance on my own studio working with some great companies like the newspaper publishing O Estado de São Paulo, Start Desenhos Animados, Brazil Animations, Young & Rubican ad agency, RBL ad agency, among others.
In 1992 I moved to Lisbon, Portugal working in advertising at some good agencies as a designer and illustrator. Since then I have work to some clients like Nestlé Longa Vida, Nestlé Nutrition, Nestlé Purina (Switzerland), Pescanova, Kilom, Holiday Inn Hotel, Pollux Stores, etc.
Since 2011, march I've returned to Brazil and I've been improving some digital art techniques mixed with classic illustration, digital illustration and photo manipulation. Read Less
