Chestnut St. Pixel Foundry was founded in 2009 by business partners Kelly Chen and Megan Seely, with a mission to provide only the finest, hand-crafted communication design.

Kelly Chen graduated from Capilano University’s IDEA program in 2007. She has worked at design and ad agencies in Vancouver, primarily dabbling in website design and front-end development. Kelly has also freelanced for clients in the telecommunications, insurance, real estate, food & beverage, sports, advertising, and non-profit sectors. Aside from being glued to a computer screen daily, she also participates in local art shows as the illustration duo, Kel/Kel. A stickler for detail, Kelly lists branding and typography amongst her favourite aspects of design; shoes and accessories her favourite parts of an outfit.

Megan “Em Dash” Seely graduated from the IDEA program at Capilano University (2007) and has since worked for clients around the Lower Mainland and for advertising agencies and design studios. Her projects have included work for Encorp, Blenz, Pharmasave, Granville Island, Earls, Money Mart, Bilt, and Great Western Brewing. She is also an experienced web programmer. When she is not in front of a computer screen, she can be found reading, exploring nature, experimenting in the kitchen, and attending to her two black Siamese-cross felines. Read Less
