I have been a graphic designer for over 8 years. My strength is organizing and simplifying complex information. I've worked at two small creative design studios and one in-house design department for a travel company. I am currently doing freelance design for a variety of companies and design studios. The majority of my work is in logos and direct mail publications.

In 2008 I finished my MFA in Illustration with an emphasis in Children's Books. My style has been described as playful and graphic. I primarily work in oils, but I am confident in a variety of mediums. I enjoy painting freelance portraits in my spare time, and I look forward to new illustration opportunities in the future.

I consider photography to be more of a hobby than a profession, as my formal training consists of one undergraduate class. I have a special interest in photographing plants and food because they allow me to get close, but I have photographed art, people, products, and events.
