About KOA {OLIVIERCRAMM}
Derrière le nom de Koa se cache, Olivier Cramm. Illustrateur dessinant sans cesse. Se nourrissant d' encre, de peinture et bien sur de repas japonais qu' il affectionne a cuisiner. Son univers peut paraître sombre mais il n' en est rien. Il serait plutôt loufoque. Parfois jonglant avec des références comme Durer ou Bosch, parfois, utilisant les couleurs très vives des comics des années 70. Olivier a su créer son univers, à la fois étouffant, poétique, drôle, étrange... Son prochain ouvrage Sang Noir devrait voir le jour courant de cette année.

Behind the name Koa hides, Olivier Cramm. Illustrator drawing incessantly. Feeding ink, paint and of course Japanese meal that he loves to cook. His world may seem dark but it s not. It would be rather silly. Sometimes juggling with references such as Durer and Bosch, sometimes using very bright colors of 70s comic books. Oliver has created his universe since years, at once sultry, poetic, funny, strange... His forthcoming book Sang Noir should be released later this year.

His world is a universe of happy and colorfull oppresive chaos where monsters are masters and humans are slaves. Monsters fascinate him since he is a little kid. His universe is full of religious symbols, occult symbols, tattoos...

Mirror of our hearts his creatition takes part of our fears, fantasms for strange things. His creations are the echo of our falling civilisation where the human Insanity, violence and sex is everywhere but always with humor. But it s always turned to ridiculous and funny things, he doesn t want t chock people with his little monsters but more make them laught.
