I’m a Chilean-born graphic designer with over 15 years’ experience in print, typography and visual identity. In Santiago I ran my own studio (www.randg.cl), together with information designer Juan Pablo Rioseco. Our editorial and wayfinding design work won national and international awards and featured in various publications such as Taschen’s Latin American Design compendium. I also lectured in graphic and editorial design and published my first book “El libro de….”, now in its third edition.
I moved to London in 2008 and joined the British Museum’s Marketing Department as Senior Designer. In this role I created designs for key generic printed materials, as well as major exhibition identities and campaigns like Moctezuma, Grayson Perry, Hajj and Book of the Dead. I also played a key role in developing and implementing a new visual language for the Museum, leading the in-house team of graphic designers.
Currently I run my own-brand-new little studio Gaggeroworks working for clients in Chile and the UK. Read Less
