Standing on a big dark mountain, with all those worms eating my brain, giving me ideas… That’s probably where all my monsters come from. Dark or scrawled, hairy or tattooed with deformed and twisted patterns.
My moods and my urges often draw my universe and it changes through the seasons. I like the piling up of shapes, objects and characters, crossing their paths to take a better look at themselves. Soulless for example. A kind of oblivion workers, their eyes are just an opening to the emptiness of their lives.
My inspiration comes from the people I meet, the things I discover.
Looking into the past, I am fascinated by the Art Nouveau era and by artists such as Klimt, Schiele or Mucha. But my interests are not limited to that time. They are many contemporary artists that I like, even if I am unable to give a precise list of them all.
