Music: The science or art of ordering tones or sounds in succession, in combination, and in temporal relationship to produce a composition having unity and continuity.

Sound: Something heard…A vibration traveling through some medium that can be perceived by the human ear.

Design: To create the form or structure of something in a skillful or artistic way.

To me, the use of sound and music in media is all about further supporting a story that is initialized through the visual realm.
Since I first began playing music, I felt the relationship existing between visuals and sound, and realized the importance of the two to work together in a collaborative way to further a story or emotion.
