series of flyers for a dubstep party Dub City

Dub City is a monthly dubstep night in Amsterdam put on by senior productions. I design their flyers and these are some of the latest ones. The idea is a city similar to Frank Miller's "Sin City" but with buildings made of speakers. I didn't want to straight rip Frank Miller's comic style, so I went on a more photorealistic look, but still tried to keep the comic book vibe. Since people in Amsterdam will be more familiar with the movie, I incorporated a bit of that look into it also.

illustrations for a book: "the Essence of Reality"

These are some illustration I did that appear in the book "the Essence of Reality" by Thomas D. Nehrer. The book is takes a deep look at reality and the mind, so to lighten things up I made quick sketches that represented some abstract ideas in my head. I kept it vague enough that people could find their own meaning in the work.
