From New York to California, entrepreneur Christine Milot has spent eighteen years of her life doing what she loves as a Graphic Designer and Web developer. Her coast-to-coast experience as an independent business owner and graphic designer allows her to create multimedia products and corporate branding materials for Fortune 500 clients such as Viacom, Canon USA, and Goldman Sachs. Christine has a wealth of expertise gleaned from projects for companies such as Nickelodeon, Disney, Phillips Electronics, Pfizer, MetLife and Court TV.
Christine enjoys mentoring young adults, who are interested in art design, reach an expert level and operate their own design business. She shares her diverse knowledge by teaching online Web design, software development, graphic design, and illustration as an adjunct professor at University of Connecticut and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She has also served as a professional consultant for design firms and individuals.
With a focus on filling clients’ needs to maximize their Web sites for communications, marketing and sales, Milot firmly believes that technical capabilities must be married to creative development and targeted communication tools in order for a business to grow. To that end clients can call upon her to help optimize their sites and develop e-marketing and promotion programs as well as for expanded creative support services that include marketing strategy, brand development, corporate image, sales presentations, print, multimedia and web design.
Milot holds an MFA in Computer Art (Concentration in Visual User Interface Design) from School of Visual Arts in New York where she also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design.
Christine is not all work and no play. Her accomplishments as an industrious business owner are balanced with her role as a wife and mother apt at maintaining a household. She enjoys cycling and dreams of flying an airplane, and taking her kids to Europe when they are young teens.
As an outgoing, friendly team player and leader, Ms. Milot is on the executive board in the role of Secretary of the American Institute of Graphic Arts Connecticut.
With a solid grasp of technology and its application to product design, marketing, and work performance, Christine is able to work effectively with all levels of an organization to realize the client’s creative, interpersonal, and communication vision. Read Less
