I am an enthusiastic and passionate artist with broad interest in both digital and traditional artwork as applied to graphic design. Typography invigorates me especially.

I have been trained in art at the California School of Art and Design for 3 years and I am continuing my art and design education at the University of Southern California Roski School of Fine Arts. Here, I proudly serve as the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) chapter president.

Beyond my design studies, I am also pursuing a degree in mathematics. Mathematics strengthens me as a designer by opening up new approaches to graphic design problems and honing my critical thinking. This extra experience makes me a unique and valuable graphic designer. Read Less

I value coming to well-informed, considerate design solutions, a manifestation of my logical side. Because of this insistence, for each design problem I approach, I gather ample background research and truly immerse myself in the different topics involved.

As a left and right brain thinker, the effects of my designs on the end viewer weigh heavily in my process. I like to think of exactly how the different components of my designs will affect viewers, from simply leading their eye, to compelling them to action, to subtly suggesting a feeling of ease and clarity. In order to accomplish these goals, I passionately study user experience design, marketing, and consumer behavior.

The tools and techniques I use to create these well-informed designs vary greatly with my versatility, but I do have favored methods. I enjoy creating bold designs, often with clean vector graphics and vibrant colors. On the more restrained end of the spectrum, I delight in creating elegant and thoughtful typographic works, where words, not image, do the work in the design. Read Less
