Chris first became interested in photography when his father brought him a Nikon FM for Christmas. Eleven years on and he still uses the same camera and the passion for photography is still burning away.

Chris started off his photographic education at Newport University, where he studied on a photography course set up by the Magnum Photographer David Hurn. The course laid the foundation for Chris to be able to work independently as a features photographer.

Upon graduation Chris was short listed for the 2003 Ian Parry award set up by the Sunday Times. His portfolio was judged to be amongst the top ten submission from circa 1800 entrees, his work as later exhibited at the Tom Blau Gallery in London.

On completion of his BA Hons Degree he went on to complete a Masters degree at the University of Westminster, under the tutorship of Colin Jacobsen where he went on to win a bursary for excellence in photography and also achieve a distinction in his studies.

Currently Chris is continuing working on a freelance basis and regularly works for numerous national and international stock libraries and magazines. Read Less
