In Neapoletan dialect, it means something like "that's it!" to conclude an explanation or a tale, as a declaration of frankness.

"cheste" is the signature we use to declare the group work that characterize our projects.

This serie of works wants to show our work philosophy:
try to do things in the best way.
There is a common saying used by artisans and in the construction sector that we like to quote: "works will be done workmanlike".

Studio Cheste is a project by Peppe Clemente. It works on editorial, identity and corporate design.
Founded in 1995, it has developed as project lab in cooperation with: Isabella Zegna, Paola Fortuna, Dario Serio, Gioia Stocco, Enrica Cavarzan, Francesco Zambello, Laura Scala, Elisabetta Cassin, Arnel Heljia.
Since 2010, it is part of Rampacavalcavia1 work cluster in Mestre, Venice.
In 2004 (Dario Serio), 2009 (Francesco Zambello), 2011 (studio +fortuna), Studio Cheste started a growth path of exchange/cooperation with other designers. Some of the works presented here are results of these connections. Read Less

Peppe Clemente.
Born in Caserta in 1968.
Architect.
Since 1994, he lives and works in Venice.
1999-2004 he is assistant professor of Graphic Design at the University IUAV of Venice and at the Polytechnic University of Milan.
2004-2009, he teaches Graphic Design at the (SSIS) Advanced Professional School of the Veneto Region.

Isabella Zegna
Born in Mestre in 1982.
Painting Graduate at the Venice School of Fine Arts.
She is currently attending the Visual Arts and Communication Master Program at the University IUAV of Venice.
She is part of studio Cheste since 2002.

Elisabetta Cassin
Born in Trento in 1985.
Architect Graduate at the University IUAV of Venice.
Member of Taj de Blu association since 2006.
