Charles Valsechi moved to Florida at an early age and began to draw constantly. With encouragement from friends and family he majored in Illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design, where he fell in love with painting. He has studied under Robert Liberace, Glenn Vilppu and several talented artists from The Illustration Academy. His influences are diverse. He enjoys the work of the old masters and the impressionists and admires modern painters and illustrators. Since his first group exhibition in Antwerp, Belgium his career has gained momentum. He has exhibited in several group shows and his work has been purchased through the MadeBy Gallery in Sarasota, FL. He is currently preparing a body of work, including two series, for a future solo exhibition. Read Less

Inspiration comes from life, this beautiful earth we call home and the creatures that inhabit it. I am motivated by the challenge of capturing these subjects through painting. In a time where many want to escape our world through movies and video games, showing what an amazing place we live in is my goal. I am inspired to prove it is worth the fight to preserve. I believe our reality is more amazing than we generally realize. This is the essence of all my work, showing the spectacular world we live in. Read Less
