Charles Moriarty is a free lance photographer, but works part time as a specialist medical photographer at Moorfields Hospital in London, primarily focusing on children and genetic visual impairments.
London-born, Ireland-bred he has been involved in the arts from an early age. Originally intending to go into film, he did production work in both film and theatre in Dublin, London, and Edinburgh. During his last year studying English and Art History at Goldsmiths University of London, he settled into stills photography and went professional. After several years working in the music industry with artists including Amy Winehouse, the Loose Cannons, and Arthur Baker, he spent some time in the medical field specializing in Ocular medical illustration. Following the completion of his degree from London College of Communications he continues to focus on still photography and go from strength to strength. Read Less
