Charla Pettingill was born and raised in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. She attended the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, where she graduated Magna cum Laude in 2008 earning her B.F.A in Illustration. She completed her M.A. in Illustration at SCAD in 2009 with a GPA of 4.0. Charla is now an internationally-published freelance illustrator working in both watercolor and digital media. Her artwork is recognizable as elegant, feminine, and colorful in appearance. She is currently available for freelance illustration work. Charla currently resides just outside of Atlanta, Georgia with her husband. When she isn't illustrating, Charla enjoys doodling in her sketchbook at the park, making jewelry, and working on her own line of greeting cards.
