(Please note that I completed my Degree in December 2004 as I finished my last two credits after our graduating year show, one credit in summer school 2004 at McGill University in Montreal, started a temp job at TARION Warranty Corporation at the end of Summer 2004 as I couldn't find a job in Design or get into any art shows, completed my final credit, intro to psychology, in night school fall 2004, then commenced a degree in Administrative Studies Accounting at York University in January 2005 after studying for and passing a mathematics examination requiring an A grade. Information Management Resident (MBA Student)
Created poster and pamphlets for distribution at an expo, re-designed forms, and edited internal webportal. (Graduate student co-op job as part of Master's Degree at McMaster University, hired thru on-campus university interview process. I wasn't hired by any employers for January 2007 co-op so I returned for a second academic term. Although I applied to lots of other co-op jobs, this was the only one who offered me a summer job. There were only 2 applicants including myself so I was lucky.)

McMaster University
Teaching Assistant: Undergrad Commerce
Applied to job thru McMaster University's website, successfully hired because I met the requirement of A grades in equivalent MBA courses. For this kind of TA job an A in the course or the equivalent MBA course qualifies a student to be a TA for the course. I graded papers using the professor's outline and took attendance, this job did not involve teaching.

Eve's Flower Shop
Floral Assistant & Key Holder
Part-time while an OCAD University undergraduate student: Opened/Closed store, usually worked alone, trained in basics of the floral designer profession. Worked most Friday evenings when it was super busy with men buying bouquets for dates. Applied to store with "Help Wanted" sign in window while looking for summer job. Luckily I already had several part-time retail jobs, worked in 2 call centres, a hamburger diner one summer and a movie theatre, taught kids waterpolo, and was a post-secondary school student majoring in design so they hired me. This was a really fun part-time job for a university student but not a career.
