Born and raised in South Africa, Cameron completed his high school years in Singapore, where he decided to become an industrial designer.

He graduated Bachelor of Industrial Design at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia in 1999, then studied New Media Design at BCIT, Vancouver.

Cameron was awarded 1st place in 2006 from “Closing The Loop” Sustainable Design Competition, Vancouver, for his recycling bin concepts. In 2008, he received 2nd place from the Open Think Box Child Zone Design Competition, Johannesburg, South Africa for his unique design of a playground constructed of re-used/recycled materials.

His work spans multiple design disciplines, with teams in diverse industries. In 2003, he worked in Japan, where he designed and produced an outdoor furniture installation for Hoshigaoka Terrace, in Nagoya. He has also been contracted to do product photography and graphics for Alessi.

In 2008, he founded IND Design Factory Canada, focusing on product design/development and structural packaging. His work includes stationary, sporting goods, retail packaging and electronic enclosure design. Cameron’s products have featured in numerous publications, such as Interni Magazine, Italy and The Art of Package Design by Sandu Publishing, and at major design exhibitions in Los Angeles and Milan.
