Brendan is a self-professed nerd who grew up in the make-believe world of the Sega Genesis, horror fantasy novels and Japanese comic books. His childhood hero was Stephen King and like many other boys his age, he shed a tear when Aerith died in Final Fantasy VII.

When he was 18 he enrolled in the LASALLE Colleage of the Arts, where he majored in Interactive Media.

Tooling around in the bookstore one day, he chanced upon a book on photographic portraits and was struck by an epiphany. Borrowing his Dad's 35mm, he forced the next person he could find into doing the most awkward poses to use as figure reference for his concept art.

That never quite worked out, he lost a friend in the process but he has not been able to stop shooting since.

In 2008, he decided to focus on shooting fashion and has since won numerous awards, including the Inaugural Harper's Bazaar Photography Awards, CLEO Little Red Dress Photography Competition(1st Place), Canon Fashion Season @Orchard Competition (3rd Place) and Award of Excellence for the MPA Master Photography Diamond Jubilee Awards 2012.

Brendan is a regular contributor for major fashion publications in Singapore, including Harper's Bazaar Singapore, ELLE Singapore, Nuyou Magazine and Surface Magazine Asia. Read Less
