My primary duties and responsibilities include creative product execution, management, and leadership. I use my creative expertise to conceptualize, develop and manage expert-quality strategies and to enhance client brand and messaging while providing strategic consultation and support to the digital, web, management, and business development teams focusing on strategic objectives. I manage the direction, development, and performance of the creative team, including video, animation, photography, web, print, and digital design specialists, ensuring each team member produces high-quality work to drive client relationships. I collaborate with the business development team with the scoping of new projects and capabilities as well as asses the organizational gaps in resources. In leadership, I drive the performance of the creative team as it relates to organizational goals and expectations. I develop and implement training strategies and provide coaching, mentorship and inspiration to personnel to enable personal growth.

As a graphic designer my role was to consult with clients regarding business goals and strategies and determine the best creative solutions, alongside my team of digital strategists, content writers, account managers and developers. My responsibilities included logo and brand development, the design of print collateral such as business cards, letterheads, folders, white pages, trade show signage and print advertising as well as digital marketing assets such as social account graphics, custom posts and templates, and digital ads using the Adobe Creative Suite.. Additionally, I work alongside the developer to create responsive UI/UX designs for client websites using Wordpress.

As a patent illustrator, I have been able to familiarize myself very closely with a variety of design aspects, such as illustration, typography, packaging, product design, web design, UX/UI design, trademarks, and branding. My dual background in illustration and graphics has skills in software such as Adobe’s Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Flash, Microsoft’s Powerpoint, Word and Excel, as well as knowledge of the printing process, and both Mac and PC platforms.

Design, create, and print promotional posters and campaigns for Art Department events. Assist the department heads in planning events and getting students involved. Manage the large format printer and assist the students.

As I pursued my Fine Arts degree at Salisbury I took a wide variety of art classes which allowed me to find my niche in the graphic design world. My illustration and print making classes opened my eyes to a world of art that is both technical and organic, which I fell in love with. I was able to contribute my skills back to the community through many student groups and organizations.
