At the age of 15 he is intrigued by photography and enrols in an Institute of Photography, thus discovering his passion.
In the mid-80’s, after a few years as an assistant to great photographers he begins his career by working for fashion magazines in Italy.
In 1988 together with other photographers, he founds MDA Studio, where he developed and expanded his vision and his work, ranging from beauty and fashion to still life. He worked with numerous publications and brands and developed together with the studio, which soon became a reference point in Milan.
In the mid-90’s, he moved into the design world and began a long collaboration, creating images and campaigns for Italian brands known around the world. He also worked a long time for different decor magazines.
His search for continuous transformation lead him to leave MDA Studio in the early 2000s and start a new phase. This also coincides with his meeting Gilda, an integral part of his life, creativity and work ever since.

He never left the fashion world but in recent years, he focused his attention on becoming a leader in the process of creating still life both with accessories and jewelry.
The “White” project dates from this time. He worked on the key accessories a concept where the most varied and imaginative stories and contexts were developed but everything was white, except the accessories.
He began publishing the monthly magazine Amica in 2003, which continued for five years.

In 2006, to mark 50 years of the brand with a major retrospective, MaxMara commissioned the design and implementation of images displaying all the coats in the MaxMara archive as their subject. This was a real journey through the history of fashion and the meetings between famous designers from all over the world and the high-end Italian brand.
The images are contained in the book COATS!, the official publication of the event, which accompanied the exhibition across the most famous cities in the world.

In recent years, in addition to carrying on his work with the magazine and brand, Bodha D'Erasmo and Gilda, he analyses the great changes in the world of communication, which continue to happen with the arrival of the web, to then turn their attention to video, more specifically to "fashion movies" and their possible connection with the printed page.
He created a team working with the filmmaker Francesco Parrella .
At the beginning of 2014, they write, realize and produce fashion movie “Myself Myselfy” for the magazine Amica .
This is a story with a contemporary theme, which also takes up the challenge of having accessories as co-stars.
Currently the pictures are published in the magazine and on the site of Amica, the Fashion movie.
In this context too, always searching for his own language and a particular vision, whilst maintaining the principle trait of their work: quality in every aspect, from the idea to it’s execution.
The Made in Italy of images.
