Capto is a tool that is used to help operators to change press felts, dryer screens and forming fabrics on a paper production machine. The new tool offers a better grip on the fabrics so that they can be pulled into the machine easier and safer. The market introduction is planned for July 2009.

 

Company goal

This product means a further diversivication of the product portfolio of Feltest Equipment in the market of tools for paper manufacturing plants.  

   

Design strategy

Capto became 30% lighter than the competive products on the market and more ergonomical. The present products fail to work when heavy loads have been applied, the Capto can be opened easily, even after having applied 160 kg of weight on the product.
