Samuel Jones takes great pleasure in the process of art. He believes following intuition is the key to successfully developing a project. Sam enjoys working mostly with photography and mixed media. He believes these mediums go hand in hand: in his words, "By exploring the finished project with my camera, I find 'art of the art.' Sometimes I end up liking my pictures of the art more than the art itself." He produces his projects in his apartment, well accompanied with coffee and spotify.
A little bit about Sam:
Born in Costa Rica, and having grown up in Spain and Germany, Sam enjoys traveling and meeting people, experiencing cultures...He speaks English and Spanish fluently. Since his European days, Sam has relocated to the US. He started out in South Carolina, and is now settled in Philadelphia.
In terms of future art plans, Sam's goal is to continue to experiment and find his place in the visual world. Along the way, he hopes to learn good lessons, meet interesting people, and encounter a reincarnation of Salvador Dali and Ansel Adams. If that doesn't happen, he will be more than thrilled to tag along with Anish Kapoor and have him assist him in designing Sam's dream monolithic tornado sculpture. Read Less
