Since I could remember I’ve been fascinated with shapes, textures and colors. When I was ten years old, PBS aired a recording of the musical, CATS. I stared at the television screen for hours, in awe of how these ordinary people could be transformed into felines. It didn’t take long before I snuck into my mother’s makeup bag to paint my own face up, matching what I had seen on the screen. I was excited by the possibilities of makeup and couldn’t get enough of it.
Makeup is my passion, and although I have been trained in all areas of art, I bring it all to use when it comes to my makeup application. The face is a blank canvas and I love enhancing it. The art of makeup and hair design allows me the opportunity to create beauty with every face I paint. From the abstract to showing women a better version of themselves, is what I strive for.
I began my professional career seven years ago, doing makeup for cable television shows out of Phoenix. I now primarily work in editorial, beauty, commercial print and film. But I’m also available for weddings, private makeup lessons, television, special events, runway, and makeup parties. As well as makeup, I also offer editorial hair styling. I am now living in Los Angeles, California, serving Los Angeles County, Orange County, Ventura Country, and Santa Barbara County.
