Erika Grijalva graduated as a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2009. Her Graphic Design work has earned awards from the Advertising Federation of El Paso in the years 2006, 2007, and most recently a Silver ADDY Award for her self-promotion website erikagrijalva.com. Although a recent graduate, Erika has experience in editorial design, web design, and video production.

As a student she worked for Student Publications at UTEP for 5 years, producing a college award-winning publication; "Minero Magazine". She also worked as layout manager at "The Prospector", UTEP’s weekly newspaper. For her second job, Erika worked as a graphic/web designer for Instructional Support Services at UTEP for 4 years, where she developed HTML/CSS skills, as well as motion graphics animation and video production.

During the summer of 2007 Erika had the opportunity to intern at Charley Inc., in New York City. She handled accounts for QVC and Ecclisi where her responsibilities in included e-newsletters, advertising, and catalogs.

Erika is currently freelancing projects, and always proactively seeking design challenges.
