Experience: International Professional Practice
• A RIBA Registered Architect, with international experience in Europe, Asia, Africa and the USA. As well as extensive experience in the UK
• Senior design experience and project running covering a significant number of complex architectural, transport infrastructure and master planning projects, as well as complex individual buildings.
• Worked as a consultant architect for a range of world respected offices (including Alsop & Stoermer, Terry Farrell, Battle McCarthy). This has involved running teams, and delivering projects to an external client (project client) and internal clients (the architecture office), and having responsible for the successful delivery of financial and administrative aspects of projects.
• Responsible for numerous first prizes in international architectural competitions, and have exhibited work in Berlin, Rotterdam and New York.
• Dedicated to delivering projects, and have a proven track-record in working in teams, in education and practice.
Experience: Teaching
• Trained in architecture at The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College of London.
• taught and lectured, at undergraduate and post-graduate levels at the following: University College London, National College of Art Lahore, Chinese University Hong Kong, Westminster University, Middlesex University, Greenwich University
• I taught design and technology at Greenwich University through all years, where I introduced a structured approach to CPD Design Journals, through a system of tutorials, lectures and site visits, relevant to the student’s projects. Similarly I have been a visiting critic at the Bartlett concentrating on the engagement of emerging technologies.
• I have been a part-time design and technology tutor at KSA – University of Kent
• Recently I was co-running the March (Pt II) Architecture course at KSA-University of Kent, as a “care-taker” role, from September to December 2007, projects dealt with Thames Gateway and Olympic issues. Read Less
