Ayhan Aydogan

AAU - MFA Game Design Student

San Francisco, CA, USA
Coming from an undergraduate education in an interdisciplinary area, I found the opportunity to be involved in different areas of studies and became interested in the area of design. I worked design and particularly optimization of complex systems for different applications. However design opportunites that offered by my major department were not satisfying enough for a person like me. I believe that many innovative studies can only be performed by combining the knowledge from many different disciplines. In light of this belief, I took many courses from school of design in our University such as Art History, Web Design Course, 3D Modelling and Animation, Art and Computing. My knowledge about engineering enabled me to build a strong multidisciplinary undergraduate background and also I’ve gained a good perspective of art in those courses that I’ve involved.

I' ve 2 year experience in Game Developing. One year as a part time and one year as a full time. The last company that I've worked with was focusin on the social simulation games on Facebook.

It may possibly be true that I’ve had more life experience participating in and observing virtual or imaginary worlds than I have had in the real world which we called ‘Earth’. So in order to increase my experience of different worlds I decided to built them by myself. So, let's make a game!

Specialties: Maya, Photoshop, Flash and Unity are my primary creation tools.
