Two years ago I started to sketch a Lego man that was sitting on my work desk, I drew him several times and on several pages until I became confident to draw a Lego man by heart :) I had a lot of free time at work for a while so I decided to draw everyday there :) One day while browsing through the internet and now that I could draw a Lego figure I wanted to draw more and thought about a Lego set that I had in the nineties.
I looked it up and found a large picture of the box set. I decided to challenge myself and tried to draw it. I was quite happy with the result that I looked for more and ended up drawing most of the collection of the Lego Paradisa sets as well as Lego pirates and castle sets from the nineties. :)
I recently came up drawing with markers a Lego woman by herself , with a Lego man and other cartoons or characters in different situations. I think they look cute and love working on the simple but emotional expression on their faces; like adding a tear near the eyes of the Lego man or woman :)
I have also made several series of architectural drawings of Dublin, Paris and Washington among other cities.
