Chris Atwood is a San Diego homegrown and native working out of his uptown studio and sometimes his car or tent all across the Southwest. A passion and penchant for people, food, travel, and culture fuels his creative drive and vision - persisting in an detailed effort to capture the most authentic, telling imagery.

Primarily a portrait and editorial shooter, he cut his teeth in the Midwest working for several publications, ad houses, and commercial studios before settling in as Photo Editor of startup success 614 Magazine - Columbus, Ohio’s number one lifestyle magazine. Now firmly rooted back in SD with a full service studio in Hillcrest, in the iconic Cable Building, shooting portraits, lifestyle, editorial, food and travel for publications, advertising, and small business.
