Myself (textiles designer) and 3 other Fashion designers are working on creating an avant garde capsule collection for Trump Golf Scotland.
As the only textiles designer working on the project I designed and created 4 Trump Tartans with complementary luxury fabrics to continue the theme of Scottish Golf heritage which through working as a team with the fashion designers kept the collection in line with the brief.
Such an exciting and wonderful opportunity to work with Trump International and their billion pound project running in Aberdeen,Scotland.

With a Focus on Art and Design I write posts relating to my involvement in the textiles and Art community. Trump Golf Scotland, Gordon Highlanders Museum scarf range & my involvement/award from the Burgesses of Guild are among the articles and records of work being covered.
I have also been given the opportunity to showcase my photography in certain stories and articles the STV team have produced.

Internship at London & Paris Fashion Week.

As one of two interns I was based in London and Paris, I in a professional manor assisted major brands and designers such as Zandra Rhodes and Cunington & Sanderson at both London and Paris Fashion Week. I organised various features of the event preparation and through my dedication and trust I was put in charge of creating an art instillation through the venue onto the catwalk where I was in charge or managing a team in its creation. As well as this I worked front of house assisting Buyers, Press and Celebrities to look through the designers collection and I also worked backstage with the models, hair and makeup and dressing as well as assisting the designers in the creation of their look.
Researching for the clients was also a vital skill gained as well as working under an intense deadline.

When I began working with Cari and Co, the company was focusing on mainly local Christmas stalls and sold in a few local businesses.

Since then together with my skills through web design, photography as well as textiles designs the company became an international luxury fashion accessories business.
I created www.cariandco.com and through online presence the company began to be stocked in Gift Shops, Art Galleries and various fashion Boutiques across the Uk and as wide spread as Russia and Germany.

Before I left Cari & Co in 2011 we had attended various British Trade Show such as those at the SECC and in Harrogate, as well as various direct to the public shows such as Country Living Fair, Indulgence and Tea Cosy.
