I'm Anne Doble, I create individual miniature works of art on tiles as small as 1" square, plus lots of other gorgeous things from my home workshop in Portknockie, NE Scotland. I also do larger size tiles, roughly postcard sized for children's name-plaques, weddings, anniversaries or anything else for which I'm asked.. I write poems for the children's plaques . Increasingly I am using highly detailed patterning in my work.
I do most of my business currently at art/craft fairs & events & via Houseparties, but I'm looking to broaden my horizons. Read Less

These little tiles have been predominently magnetic to date. The 1" ones make quirky notice board magnets. However,I am currently investigating other formats for them, as they are worthy of being so much more than 'just a fridge magnet'.
Each one is created by hand using a variety of both medium & technique. I've been crafting for over 20 years,& drawing & painting since childhood.I have gained a lot of knowledge & experience through experimentation & imagination along with the manipulation of established techniques. Read Less

I make these on approx 3.5"x2.5" tiles & a larger postcard size. They aren't just for use as name plaques: I've created them for weddings, anniversaries & new homes to name but a few.They can be magnetic, although most of my customers have preferred the hanging option. They could also be supplied with a mini display easel.
I write a personal poem for the children's plaques,preferably based on a detail about the child. Read Less
