Andrea Mancini was born in 1958 at Florence (Italy).
Precocious talent in drawing and visual arts, school-age begins to publish the cartoons first and win the first contests of extemporaneous art.
He attended the courses of cartoon teached by Tomislav Spikic at Cappiello Academy and graduated in Graphic Design Art Institute of Florence in 1978, with Leonardo Mattioli.
Illustrator and cartoonist before, entering the advertising agency in 1979 at Leader of Pico Tamburini, where it will start alongside Gilberto Filippetti a career as creative and designer and free-lance up to the 90s.
He travels to Paris in 1982 and to New York in 1983 for business trips and professional depth environmental study art.
He starts in ’96 to exhibit spontaneous works “tempera grassa” on paper in solo and group exhibitions in Italy and then abroad (Japan and Germany).
In 2000 wins Fiorino d’Oro Award for painting in 2002 and some of his works were acquired by the Museo Marino Marini and the Diocesan Museum in Florence.
In 2003 he tooks part in the set development of Luca Ronconi’s Lohengrin at the Teatro Comunale in Florence.
