“I worked with Katie Anderson over the course of two summers in my capacity as the Art Director of Alaska Serigraphics. Katie’s job was to design art that would be reproduced on t-shirts and advertising specialty items. Able to grasp new concepts with ease and apply them efficiently and effectively to the art projects she was working on, Katie proved to be a quick learner. In addition, she improved some existing procedures that improved the efficiency of the art department. Stimulated by new challenges, Katie improved as an artist and created some of our best work in our catalog of shirt designs. She showed passion, eagerness to learn and initiative. Over a short period of time she became an indispensable part of the Art Department. Katie was never afraid to ask for help and constructive criticism from her co-workers and was always ready to help them in turn. Without complaint and with a thank you, she would accept any work given to her. She always completed her work on time in a creative and efficient manner. Working well with co-workers and clients she was an important part of the team. All those that worked with her found her to be creative, thorough, thoughtful and a joy.
