I am Anam Haleem. I am a 27 year old creative design and illustration professional from Karachi, Pakistan.
I have always been a music, anime and illustration junkie, so it was only natural for me to find myself in an art school for my bachelor degree. It was there where I realized my love and passion for design and communication. I find a great kick in our ability as designers to convey any kind of message across, and powerfully at that!
After graduating art school, I started my career at The Express Tribune, which is now the biggest and the most authentic source or news in Pakistan. Over there I had a chance to explore the potential of design's many facets. After working for two years I decided to move on and explore other applications of Creative field and I landed in one of Pakistan's leading advertising agency Adcom Pvt.Ltd. It was over there I got to practice design and concept development in a totally different format and had the opportunity to work on Adcom's leading account TARANG (tea whitener) of Engro Foods and worked with a very able team of copywriters, art directors to conceptualize their 2011 advertising campaign and also had the opportunity to explore packaging design for another FMCG company Candyland. After working there for six months an amazing opportunity to explore the potential of Urdu design came along at Jehan Media Group for their Urdu newspaper, Jehan Pakistan.
