I am a creative, inquisitive problem-solver with more than 15 years administrative, customer service, communication and design-related experience. I gain my energy from being around people while always observing and asking questions.
I have experience coordinating marketing, communications and public relations for two large organizations, collaborating on a wide range of promotional strategies including: advertising, event management, media relations and web presence in support of recruitment and retention efforts.
It was this experience that prompted me to return to school as a mature student to pursue a degree in Interdisciplinary Design. Throughout this process, I have been able to apply my work background to communications-based design. My studies emphasized research and the naratives of user-centered design thinking. From this, I have learned approaches to enhance print, social and web-based media, both strategically and graphically.
